Mass Effect 2

Seriously can't wait for this bad boy. But here's the thing, I'm not happy with my ME1 character/chocies so I'm going to start from a scratch on ME2. A reboot, if you will.

Anyone else getting it? If so, how will you start?

saw the new screenshots on facebook yesterday. more mass effect 2 dlc is always a good thing, overlord and shadow broker were some of the best dlc I've ever played.

just started this game Ive wantes it for a long time so I hope its as good as im reading and heaing.

I've got to finish the first one before I even start to look at this, it has been sitting on my to do list for almost 4 months now as well

Mass Effect 2 is one of the best games ever. You should drop what other games you are playin just to experience its awesomeness

I'm trying to finish the playthru on Insane, but just cannot find the right setup to use
A mate told me the best is a soldier.. but i ain't got one from any ME1 or ME2 saves.. he said i could change the class if i load up the ME1 save... is he right? Not tried yet, can't bring myself to do it all over again and get stuck at the same point ~(Ambush on the collectors ship)

I haven't even started on Insane. But I read that it's better to start a brand new playthrough anyways rather than New Game+, because you'll be at a lower level. Enemies are scaled to your level, so if you're a high level at the start, it'll just be harder.

From the reading up ive done on here this game seems epic, I cant wait to get into it.
Gonna try and get a good 5 hours on it today (the joys of being unemployed are good sometimes )

Right, finally been inspired to go back and try it on insane again. after getting well and truly stuck with my engineer on NG+ I have started again with an infiltrator on a fresh save. Only problem so far is not being able to use my ME1 save as apparently you have to play both games on the same console to carry over the data, and I have swapped consoles four times since then. My story isn't how I left it from ME1 which has annoyed me a bit, but seeing what Bioware see as the "correct" story for the first time.
