so its a console that plays games like the 360 and has a controller thats a cross between an ipad and a ds


each time they make something it looks unfeasible but sells millions

imho this time they have absolutely gone mental

This is the oddest set of offerings from E3 in years

Sony flogging everything 3D they can think of and a new psp after just binning the last psp

M$ making hardcore kinect

and ninty deciding the best way forward is to build a hybrid of every available tech and then just rereleasing their entire catalog again (for the 564675467654675534th billionty time) this occasion for 3ds

Nintendo was free online on the wii, and is on the 3ds, but they do have online stores to buy things, and there own nintendo points system.

Tbh, the only game I'm interested in is the Zelda they showed, because I'm a big Zelda fan. However, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will be out on the Wii before that, and as awesome as it looks, even that's not enough to convince me to buy a Wii again. So I highly doubt the Wii U Zelda will make me wanna buy that console either.

What can I tell ya, I am old school.

I had a NES and played Popeye to death.

I owned all the game and watch games back in the 80's.

I wore adidas Forest Hills, Puma G-Vilas, Kappa tracksuits, Safari Farahs, Sta Press.

I saw Star Wars at the cinema when I was 7, many many times.

I was the original B-boy popping and breaking too Electro before some of you were born.

360 is the first console to drag me away though

If it churns out good Nintendo properties in HD on powerful hardware and i can download classics online then that's enough for me to want one. Is that so bad!? Each machine has it's own strengths. If the online is shit then who cares, there are other machines to fill that need. Each machine has it's strengths. It may be 2011 but you can still buy Forest hills (Kent)!! Those are classic trainers Kent!!

Doesn't grab me either. I never liked Nintendo's stuff, as I've always thought it was too bubbly and soft like fisher price video gaming. I don't like Mario or any of those type characters any more then I like Sega's Sonic and friends. So this isn't gonna get much of a look in with me at all.
