Xbox one rumoured to come with a major 3rd party game!

Just seen this on 360 achievements lets hope it's true!

The Xbox One will come bundled with a "major third-party title" for free in Europe, according to CVG.

The title, which has not yet been revealed, is said to be a “major third-party” Christmas release. According to the report, Microsoft executive Phil Spencer will announce the game at Gamescom.

Apparently, the move is an attempt to make the Xbox One a more attractive prospect to users who are being tempted into buying the PlayStation 4, which is £80 cheaper.

The deal may also come to the US. Microsoft is not currently commenting on the report.

That's going to upset the people who are in the European delayed countries - weren't they getting a pack-in game as a consolation for being delayed? Wonder if they will get two games, or whether they will just be shafted...

If it is dead rising 3 then Microsoft are genius.

I'll hazard a guess and say it'll be a code rather than a disc.

I agree it will likely be a code. And it certainly won't be a 15/18 age rating as this might put off families. So I expect Fifa is a good bet. And if everyone who buys an Xbone gets it, there won't even be any point trying to sell the code etc.

Confirmed. All XboxOne pre-orders will come with FIFA 14 for no extra cost. Download copy as well. Not a disc.

Good step up from microsoft but I read somewhere that playstation will be offering drive club for free within the firts few months of playstaion plus anyway:) 

This is a great move for Microsoft. FIFA is probably the second biggest selling franchise in Europe after cod. Brilliant idea.

I wish I was joking, although it did only take me 5 years to max PES 6 so there is time and it is doable!!

I have just received an email from game confirming about FIFA being included in the Xbox one console.

Looks like physical copies of FIFA 14 will be in the 99p bin within a year... 6 months quicker than every other FIFA then!

Glad I haven't preordered one, this would be the worst game they could give me. 

You couldn't even sell it for anything if everyone is getting a code!

I have absolutely zero interest in football, and football games. If I got a physical copy of the game I'd sell/trade it immediately. As for a code that everyone else has been given too, it'll be going in the bin.

Fair enough it might lure a few people into buying an Xbone, but is Fifa really the best they could have given us?

Free is free but they really aren't going to appeal to all with that choice. Personally I hate football games, so this wouldn't even get touched by me. Surely there must be something out there they could offer that would be a better choice to suit a wider range of gamers?

I still haven't decided if I'm going to pre order one yet.

Not bothered about Fifa in the slightest, but free is definitely free. I was pre-ordering mine anyway so this is just a nice little bonus.

Good point and I have no doubt these will be on ebay, issue is your potential buyers market is XB1 owners who will already have a code....

They couldn't of picked a bigger game apart from COD or Battlefield and that was not gonna happen.

Lets be fair they have gone as big as possible.

Football is the worlds biggest sport and FIFA is the worlds biggest footy game that sells year on year.

Just read that the xbone will have exclusive downloads first for fifa (for those that are interested)

And the legends team will be one of those downloads and to play with these lot on fifa

To be fair I think that FIFA will appeal to the majority of gamers.

Not me though.

Most of you would have been crap to go to school with!

We played football every single day and talked about it everyday too.
