Rumoured price/ structural changes at XBox Live.

Im hoping that if this comes off, it will be in the form of a Platinum membership option and not a one size fits all solution.

I dont subscribe to Sky or use any of their services because I believe Rupert Murdoch to be an evil human being. I unsubscribed when he bought MySpace and wouldn't wipe my backside with any of his "Newspapers". On top of this I dont recieve enough bandwidth to be able to enjoy streaming media so, at this time it would be useless to me anyway.

What are your thoughts?

Its USA only if at all, so no big deal yet.

I would happily pay more money to be a plat member if it meant I got more great stuff though.

I heard some rumours about this but I'm afraid my first reaction was cynical.
My idea is that Micro$oft have realised the potential now that Live and gaming in general is really becoming more mainstream and popular and understand that if they just raise the subscription a bit it's money in their pocket. of course I still pay if it all went up by five pence or summink... how many five pences would that be if everybody paid...?

I won't mind the OPTION of paying more for more services though... I just hope I get a choice.
They can distribute films and videos as pay for view "DLC"...

Depends on what it offered really, I wouldn't be happy paying extra for things that I would never use but if it offered something worthwhile then I wouldn't mind
