FREE games with XBOX LIVE GOLD

First topic message reminder :

The games with gold details are up on xbox.com now.
Fable 3 till the 1st of July then Halo 3 till 16th July with Assassins creed 2. Changing to a new game on the 1st and 16th of every month thereafter.

 It's actually not a bad game but I have already played and maxed it so it's not one I really need to go back too.

fairly easy 1000g if you have the patience to collect the flags. Took about a week to max (that's with work in between and a handy flag guide).

the offers are total dogshit.

M$ have dropped the ball.

PS4 has almost twice as many games in development.

I fear the worst and I am not happy about it.

What offers. If you're talking about free stuff then IT'S FREE you can't complain about getting something for free, as if it wasn't offered in the first place you wouldn't have begrudged it.

I think/hope there'll be a lot more stuff offered when the XboxOne hits. Isn't really much point in offering hundreds of pounds-worth of stuff when the console is mere months away from being obsolete. Also worth remembering that these free games won't be available on the next-gen machines, so why give away a load of stuff that people won't have access to if they upgrade (a lot of people will surely be trading in their 360 for a XB1). I'm sure this programme will continue and be expanded on next-gen.

M$ are crapping themselves about people jumping ship.

I would be happier if they didn't offer these free games as it just looks like a really really cheap and shit PS+

Unless they offer better newer titles in the future then its pointless and looks like desperation.

I also slagged PS3 alot for not having cross games chat and the trophy system and friends list being so shit.

One man's rubbish is another man's gold. I wouldn't bemoan anything that's offered for free like this. If someone came up on the street and offered you £5 would you throw it back in there face and say if all you're going give is £5 you can bugger off.

I don't see it a desperation I see it as a nice reward for loyal customers. I don't stay on Xbox based on how much free stuff they give me. I stay for the quality of the service and the quality of the games available on the machine. I don't mind paying for that service if it keeps it running and I've paid for it up to this point, so them giving me anything free is just an extra bonus. Sony could give me a brand new PS-4 for free but I'd still be buying an Xbox One as that'll be what I'd end up playing more anyway.

Not that I'm bashing the PSN, as I've never used it but PS+ and some free titles wouldn't tempt me across, as I'm quite happy with my experience on the Xbox360 and wouldn't have the time to devote to two console. I'm addicted enough to one as it is.

Yup, I am tighter than a nun's chuff, free is most definitely free. I downloaded the tower defence game, really like it, very basic but there is some comedy in there and quite a large amount of gameplay by the look of it.

I have downloaded Assasins Creed II today, I've not played nor do I own any of them yet so thank you very much Microsoft!

Free is free, no matter how old the games are. These are good offers.

Yeah I dunno what the fuss is about, at the end of the day its something free for something we've been paying £40 a year for anyways so.. -shrug-. It is a bit meh that it is old good games instead of something a little moar recent but they could offered a lot worse stuff  

The offer is shit, the reason I think its shit is that I get £1500 worth of free games on Playstation Plus each year for the same price.

if I did not own a playstation I would think free was ok.

the reason it annoys me more is that I prefer XBOX and am abit of a HUGE 360 fan.
