Seated Kinect games

I would like to try the kinect and wondered if there are any games you can play 100% seated???

Could those who have it please check it out.

But its important that at no point you stand up, not even to calibrate.

I believe Gunstringer can be played completly sitting down as it only requires the use of your hands. One review did say that sometimes the Kinect misread the arms of his sofa as his arms though, might be worth a shot though.

Technically Child of Eden could be too, but seeing as that is best played with a controller its a mute point!

I would imagine Fruit Ninja would be possible as well......that only really tracks your arms.

I still think you have to be standing to calibrate the thing though mate. Until they change that you're snookered

i got bored with standing up so i played joyride sitting down and it seemed the same to me..seems to take too long to get any gamerpoints from the kinect though maybe im just crap.

From the video i saw on xbox live showcase it seems like its played with a regular controller with hand commands issued via kinect to your tank crew. Looks interesting, ive never played the first Steel Battalion, but if its made by Capcom i have some hopes for it turning out to be a good MechWarrior type game.

I must have had a bubble in my brain even asking about kinect, sorry.

Crazy that both Move and Wii are 100% usable by me from my chair.

I do fear the worst for the future though.

I played the demo's of Gunstringer and fruit ninja sitting down. They worked fine for me. Has anyone close by to you got a kinect that you could try out.

I am tempted to get one for the family . I have heard that quite a few games can be played seated . Also if it needs calibrating by standing , you know I will help you there . They only need calibrating properly once . If you get one and don't like it , I will take it off your hands . So get one at a good price .

You know more about the game than me, But if there are unicorns why havent i played it yet lol... i went out and bought kinect games to get fit. That hasnt worked!

If i keep reading on this thread for Sitting Kinect games i will never make a change...

I have a four year old daughter, of course I know more about these games. Well that's my excuse anyways
