EA DLC price reductions for Burnout Paradise & B-BC2

EA have reduced the prices on DLC for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Burnout Paradise.

The Battlefield: Bad Company 2 contents that are discounted are:

• Bad Company 2 VIP - 800 MSP
• Onslaught Mode - 400 MSP
• Assault Kit Short-cut Pack - 400 MSP
• Engineer Kit Short-cut Pack - 400 MSP
• Medic Kit Short-cut Pack - 400 MSP
• Recon Kit Short-cut Pack - 400 MSP
• Kit Short-cut Bundle Pack - 1200 MSP

The Burnout Paradise contents that are discounted are:

• Burnout Paradise Big Surf Island - 560 MSP
• Burnout Paradise Cops & Robbers - 400 MSP
• Burnout Paradise Party - 400 MSP
• Burnout Paradise Toy Car Collection 1 - 400 MSP
• Burnout Paradise Toy Car Collection 2 - 400 MSP
• Burnout Paradise Toy Collection - 400 MSP
• Burnout Paradise Legendary Cars Collection - 400 MSP
• Burnout Paradise Boost Specials Pack - 400 MSP

I'm gonna get the big surf pack, since i don't think i ever got around to buying it!

What do the short cut packs do??
Will they unlock me any achieves?????

Are these permanent reductions?
Didn't get into Paradise, didn't feel like a Burnout game should

The shortcut packs let you unlock weapons packs etc without levelling up in multiplayer, as for cheves from them i doubt it but i'm not sure!

Big Surf Island is the best DLC release ever

Nope no extra achievements for those. there are a couple of achievements for the Onslaught Mode.

A Burnout night would be great.Been playing this again lately.I still have loads of achievements to get on it.

i got the surf island stuff its ace,i need some tuition on this game ,i don't understand some of it and a burnout night would be ace.

I've nicked my mums copy of burnout paradise that the one with the extras on (can't remember what its called, do I have to get the DLC too?)
& what does the BFBC VIP pass do?

I think its just for the VIP map packs.

I finally got around to downloading the Burnout Big Surf Island DLC last night, great fun especially the Ski Jump...

Yeah, the VIP Pass just lets you download all of the map packs for free. You should get the code in the game case if you bought a new copy.

The Ski Jump had me pissing myself laughing first up.

Burnout Paradise is the best racing/driving game ever created imho.

I've had burnout twice now.. and I really want it but cant be flumped to order it online, so I got it on demand.. what I didnt know is that now you can use MS points to buy games on demand!!! so the 1600 MS points that randomly appeared on my account the other week, combined with 1000 I had, allowed me to purchase burnout, and the surf DLC and the legendary car pack, with nothing coming out of my pocket!

Result!!
