New Gears 2 XP Event???

Found these posts on Gears Vikings Twitter. He is the guy who set up the last XP event so things are looking good so far .

And they said in the Comic Con Q&A session that there would be unlockables in Gears-3 for people who'd gotten to rank 100 etc in Gears-2 [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

The last labour day event had sires as the horde baddies similar to the tickers for the 4th of July event.

Yeah same here, Lvl 98 at the moment. Only need about 300,000 XP now!

Being as there's going to be unlockables in Gears 3 relating to getting your wings from Gears 2 I'd imagine they'll give every single Gears player more than enough chances to obtain their wings. Nice to see a company listening to their user base and acting upon what they have to say. Kudos to Epic for giving us what we want

I wonder can we bring our Gold weapons over to Gears 3?

There's bound to something similar included with pre orders and midnight releases mate. I'm sure either Rod, Cliff or Tracy has mumbled something about that on Twitter. The fans almost expect it and they've been good at giving us what we want so far so I see no reason to think they'd stop doing so now.

Well if we can use our Golden guns in GoW3 it would be great; means don't have to spend loads of times on iFlaks twitter page looking for one!

I doubt it'll be another humongous one like the last, if anything i doubt they will do anything like that again for this game.. if they do it'll be just before Gears 3 comes out if anytime..
I would say we are going to be looking at another x8. Just my thinking.. i could be wrong. I hope so for those that need the boost, i'm not far off with a level 94ish
