What was your first achievement?

I bought my 360 three years ago with the express reason being that I wanted to play Dead Rising. Sony had just announced the six month PAL delay so that helped.

Anyway, first games were Dead Rising (yay!) and Dead Or Alive 4 (noooo!). I fired up Dead Rising and promptly fell off of a shelf. Achievement Unlocked: Freefall. Hmmm... wasn't whorage at first sight I can tell you. Considering that my first three games were apparently unmaxable (DR, DOA4 and Hexic) I thought nothing more of it.

Then I bought Tony Hawk's American Wasteland and being a veteran of the days when that series didn't suck ass I decided to max it as that's what I did with THPS 1, 2 and 3. 1000GS (the last achv being to find all the gaps) and I was hooked. After that I suffered through PES6 (my first no-fun-at-all max) and then Prey (my first random-boost-oh-partner max).

Now I'm hooked worse than DOA4's devs are hooked on anime schoolgirl porn.

my first was on Geometry Wars on the first week of release of the 360

and just 18 months of playing it later I got the 200/200 on it

Best value fiver I ever spent on a game

think mine was the ridiculously easy one on the Simpsons that you get for simply starting the game

Mine was the achievement for completing the training mission on GRAW which came with my xbox back in August 2006

Mine was "Create a Female Golfer" - Tiger Woods 07 (5 gs) ...... I bought my 360 Jan 07 the followed this by dipping my toes into XboxLive in the July .... have never looked back

I have had a few more cheevies since then LOL

mine was on hex HD,

I got my xbox my mate said he would play halo 3 with me once he had his dinner so I put Hex HD on until he was ready.

Still not maxed out halo 3 yet! want to soooooo badly!!

Mine was Prison Breakout on Gears 1. Acquired 11/04/2007.

Mine would appear to be 50 G for finishing the first level of Tomb Raider Legend. As I only have 60 g for it I really should go back to it one day

Mine was either Tomb Raider Legend or Hitman: Blood Money. Can't remember which one I played first.

ok this is currently my 3rd xbox360 and my 3rd account, my other accounts were never online and I cant even remember the tags. records state that my first achievement for this gamertag was from Need for Speed: Pro Street.

My first achievement was just for creating a wrester on Smackdown vs Raw.
If only they were all that easy!

My first achievement was Chapter One Bronze Bird Award for 10G whilst playing Condemned on my very first profile (i am on my 3rd and final profile, which is why i haven't got much on there)

As far as I can tell, this was my first achievement too. I gained it on 30/12/2005.

I think mine was from eternal sonata. I'm pretty sure that was the first game I played

Is there a way you can definiately find out the answer to this? or is it just down to memory?
Sadly I cant remember but I do know that I bought 'Dead Rising' BEFORE I even had the Xbox, because I wanted it to be the first game I played.

So using that theory, thankfully it seems that the achievement lists for games are shown in the order they're unlocked. ... so this means I got the 'Portraiture' achievement first ?

I think mine was something on NHL 07 or Lord of the rings: battle for middle earth II, I really can't remember exactly what it was that far back though.
