Mega Man-inspired Mighty No. 9 Release Date Revealed

Mighty No. 9 - the long-awaited, crowdfunded Mega Man homage - has finally been given a release date.

Strap on your boots and prepare yourself for the almighty action-platformer, the game will be hitting consoles this September.

The game, created by Blue Bomber's Keiji Inafune, will be published by Deep Silver - the chaps behind Saints Row and 'marmite of games' Dead Island. You'll be able to grab it both digitally or pick up a physical copy (Remember when that was a thing?).

Mighty No. 9 will also feature a free bonus DLC stage, and also include an extra playable character with new skills and gameplay mechanics.

You can blast your way through the game on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, Wii U and PC on September 18th.
