GTASC 2014....anyone interested?

First topic message reminder :

We've entered teams for the last 2 years, so I thought I'd see if anyone was up for it again.

Big change this year is the fact that the leaderboards and registrations are all handled directly on TA and not on the separate GTASC site, but it's the same basic principle....lasts a year, teams of 4, lowest TA gains eliminated every week.

I know we probably don't stand a realistic chance, but it's a good motivator if you're like me and stuck in a gaming rut.

It was looking tight yesterday, but we've survived. Everyone probably got the message earlier, but in case you didn't there's a bonus to be earned this week by earning 15,000TA as a team.

I think Gambler saw the message and is going for it by himself as hes got over 3000TA today

was listening to the achievement hounds podcast and he mentioned World Snooker Championship 2007 there is a cheat code that lets you win all the championship matches except the trick shots takes about 1 hour for 2000TA and you don't have to play a single match .If you do all the trick shots aswell thats almost 3000TA in 3 hours.If anyone wants it let me know because im done with it now.

Aye the connection is very touchy still here, I've had to use another Xbox just to get my saves off the Cloud to play any of my games. TalkTalk dont seem to like my xbox for some reason, any suggestions

Well finally got the net back so shoudl be back to scoring again soon!

Looking dicey this week guys. Currently 2nd bottom. Sadly I haven't been able to put as much gaming time in as I'd have liked due to decorating work. I'm just starting out on Lego Hobbit, so that will hopefully push us up a little. May have to use the bonus tonight.

Make sure you do actually use it if you need to!

Oh well.....bonus was used, but we still didn't make it. An awesome late push by gambler sadly wasn't enough either. 14 weeks is still a pretty good effort though, cheers to everyone who took part on BOTH teams.

Great effort guys. Shame you got cut by such a small margin, but it looks like it was a pretty brutal week with loads of teams using their bonuses and lots of shifting places. When is it going to drop to less than 8 teams cut per week? I wouldv'e expected that to happen by now, although obviously I haven't done the maths.

Well played to all of you on both teams. The problem with this type of competition, is your always gonna be up against the the kind of people who can play all day everyday (or get others to play on their behalf).
