WP7 Update today

Doing another update now.

Will report back if I work out any changes.

Hope it changes the pin password thing.

I used to have it set so I typed the pin ONLY when first turning the phone on again, but now its every time I use the damn thing, so 30 times a day!!!

Finally I am getting WP7.8 on my HTC HD7

Mine's been shouting for an update for a few days, but it's refusing to sync with my laptop.

3 updates in total.

My phone now looks totally different, like having a new phone¬!!!

I tried to update mine a few weeks ago, but it just failed during the update process. Couldn't be bothered to work out why so just left it. Think it's probably pretty outdated now as I have never updated it.

Mine's finally updated. It's basically made the interface more in line with WP8. They've got rid of the gap down the side of the home screen and the Xbox tile has changed to be more in line with the current branding.

Sounds cool, more interesting in bothering to get mine updated now.

10 new colours too.

It all fills the screen alot more, plus you can shrink tiles to one quarter size now.

great for shrinking game tiles down and all mine now fill the screen at once.

Much less scrolling.

Think I must have already had this update, as my phone hasn't asked me for a few weeks. And I already have the extra colours and the ability to shrink tiles etc

Yep I got this update a couple of weeks ago, not really bothered much with the tiles as I don't tend to shortcut much anyway.

just getting mine now, cant wait!!

I just switched to virgin sim only for £12 a month!

Before I was on O2 and also never got the update.

But as soon as I got the unlock code from O2 I got the update!

Ask Orange for your unlock code as its free

My ex was on Orange and I'm on Three, same phone but I used to get my updates weeks before him. Not sure what it is with Orange and their updates.

Well I'm on orange and got it ages ago. Have you tried finding the update through Zune?
