Game of the year, not even on xbox??? 8-(

I have been thinking about which game could be game of the year this year from what we know.

The real shocker is I don't think it will be available on XBOX for me.

You see the Wii U has Lego City and Pikmin 3 coming out!

Then on PS3 you have Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires and Dynasty Warriors 8 plus Ni No Kuni

I am really unhappy that the whole warriors series is now basically PS3 exclusive.

Shame 360 does not have so many exclusives anymore

I agree that certain platforms are getting exclusives but I cannot say that any of the above would be anywhere near a game of the year for me

That Lego Vice City looks ok but I was more interested in the Ninja Gaiden 3 trailer that I saw afterwards. That looks brutal, although I'm not sold on that whole game pad thingy, looks a bit naff to me.

The Wii U is buzzing with exclusives this year plus they have a HD Zelda game on the way and a new Mario Kart.

I am hoping someone here posts up some 360 exclusives I may of missed, well apart from Gears of snore

Don't knock it until you have tried it mate, all my friends and family have been blown away by the high quality of the gamepad.
don't be swayed by Everton's view on the Wii U as he never played a game on it.

Why would I make it up? I don't work for Ninty and I am a 100% 360 fanboy if anything.

Everything else in life is simply killing time until that game comes out.

Also, I suppose Bioshock Infinite and Injustice might be ok.

Oh I've not been swayed by anyone elses opinion. For me, a controller should be just that! As small and light as possible to do the job it's untended for and nothing else. That thing looks bloody huge and very heavy. I also think all this smartglass bollocks on your mobile is a complete waste of time. I don't want 15 different peripherals to play a bleedin game.
All I need is a tv, console and a controller and I'm set. Anything else is superfluous.

I will be buying a Wii U just for Pikmin 3 so it better be good!!

Still don't think anything will take over from my Xbox though, regardless of exclusives, the Xbox controller is the only thing that doesn't trigger my wrist problems and the Kinect doesn't even involve me using my right wrist or hand all that much so it's all good for me. Plus Xbox has Gears has I'm a happy Bunny!

when you first pick up the Wii U gamepad you will be shocked at how light it is, in fact I wish it was heavier with a longer battery life.

Please try and use it first mate, the Wii U has brought me alot of fun and great gaming so far.

My mind is kinda boggled that people are dissing it without ever playing it.

But I know it is hard to keep buying games on multiple platforms, I just can't resist and don't really spend any money on anything else but gaming.

Finances dictate just the one console and to be honest I'm more than happy with that scenario. Got enough wires and everything else all over the place anyway

I'm the same with this. We bought a Wii as the wife wasn't keen on playing on the Xbox, but she hardly plays the Wii either. I do play games on other devices (WP7, Surface, iPod Touch and occasionally my DS Lite). But when I'm at home its mostly the Xbox. I'm not too bothered about Exclusives etc, as most of the games I play are cross format releases anyway.
The last time I bought a console purely for an exclusive was a PS2 for Gran Turismo 3 (I think). I don't think there are any games I want so much that it would make me buy a 2nd console. But who knows what may happen in future generations.

Game of the year was easily produced by Bradford city!!
