There are only two things that are supposed to smell of fish


This game is supposedly a fishing simulator

When I was younger and used to go on proper fishing trips, my experience was that I had to endure cold, wet and darkness to inflict pain and death on innocent swimmy things so that my fingers could smell like I had been feeding the horse for hours.

This game does not create any of that.

It does however capture the intense boredom of the sport perfectly


If you want to play this title without buying it then just follow this simple model

Flick your rght stick back and forward
Wait 10 seconds
Rotate the right stick through 360 degrees
Press left left left right on the right stick
Pull the left trigger once
Press up and down on the right stick
Press and hold LT
Move right stick side to side and press RT a few times
Mash a combo of XXX or ABX or ABAB or YYB
Shout Well done or Yes in an annoying voice after your combo mash

Repeat

Thats it

for the whole game

Nothing else

Nada

Zilch

Its just doing those actions over and over and over

You could look at the shitty graphics I guess but thats the only thing that you get by purchasing the game as opposed to repeating the exercise with the Xbox off.

10 hours later you will either have 1000 ach points and be £10-£20 down having bought the game

or

you will have no ach points and be 10-20 notes better off if you just did it on the controller without the game

Both ways you are a loser so my advice is never to bother at all



This game isnt a fish yet it smells of fish

I will leave you to work out what it is then

I think you need to analyse what you are really achieving and decide if maybe you should just play games you like instead.

I reely like the angle you took for that review, I bait you wish you hadnt played this? |This appears to not be a catch of the day and more one that you should let slip through the net. I wonder where it plaiced in the reviews of metacritic? I think you cod of put a screenshot up. I should stop Im even boring myself!

Clam Evilgenius that's a lot of fishy puns you listed there. You certainly netted an opportunaty there.

Not sure how all the Rapala games play but fishing frenzy is my favourite fishing game ever... not that it has much competition :/

Maybe you should get the Rapala kinect game for great simulation accompanied by intense boredom
