Virtua Tennis 2009

SEGA today released their second court games trailer for their upcoming Virtua Tennis 2009 title. If you somehow, like us, missed the first trailer, you'll also find that embedded below.

Virtua Tennis 2009 is set for a May release although a specific date has yet to be announced.

Really looking forward to this I played the first one to death so I'll definitely be adding this to my ever increasing 'must have' list. Some of those new mini games look suitably barmy as we've come to expect from the VT series, looks like they've done away with that bloody bingo game aswell thank god.

i am also looking forward to this, i always enjoy these tennis games even though i am not very good at them.

bad news for all you tennis fans virtua tennis has been delayled by a month to make sure the game is error free.

Bloody hell, been practically counting the days down to this and all. Hope it doesn't become one of those situations where it constantly keeps getting put back, the fact that they haven't announced a new date leads me to think it could be more than a month before we see this.

i think that maybe the case, its rare that they wouldnt give a release date, but i am sure it will be for the best if the game came out now and wasnt finished i wouldnt be happy i would rather it be delyed and have a good game with no faults or glitches than them rush it out and it be riddled with faults

This has now got a confirmed release date of Friday the 29th of May and I can't wait for it.
Anyone else planning on getting it? We could start up a GSA tennis league if we got enough people.

i will probably be getting it, once my xbox comes back, i would be up for a bit of online tennis action

Got this game yesterday and its quite clear that its been rushed out by Sega.

Even after playing the game for only a couple of days I've already encountered some bugs which mostly affect the career mode, and from reading other forums it seems like the further into the career mode the more bugs you encounter. Virtua Tennis bugs and issues

Apparently Sega have already released a patch so I dread to think what the game was like beforehand, its gonna take a few more patches before all the problems are gonna be completely ironed out.

Anyone thinking of purchasing this game would be advised to hold off for a bit until everything is sorted.
