Anyone lost any gamerscore?

Anyone experiencing any weird gamerscore issues? TrueAchievements just tweeted about various instances of players randomly losing up to 95% of their gamerscore or having it wiped all together.

My avatar has lost it's Left 4 Dead hat and when I started ME3 earlier it kicked me back to the start, saying I'd originally started the game on a different console. Which is a lie.

Yep all I've got is the 40gs of 65 I picked up on mass effect 3 today

This has just burst all over twitter. I would recommend every one stay clear of live until it's resolved. I'll be keeping an eye on the offical xbox support page for updates. At least they are aware of it but not knowing if it will be a perm or temp thing has put me off. Hope it's sorted ASAP

AGH!!! I'm now too parinoid to even log into live on the comp or on my phone lol.

Mine seems fine, but looking at schizo's sig his GS is showing up as 15 and checking my friends list on xbox.com loads of people are showing up with random ammounts of gamerscore like 20 or 55, so there's definitely something wrong here. I think I'm going to avoid signing into live for now untill I know what's going on.

Apparantly if you sign out and in again it will resolve the missing GS problem

I just fired up black ops it wiped my gamerscore then I went and got 2 achievements I already had, so it now says I have 20G. It's slowly uploading rest of my games when I check my avatar through social, but it's still saying I only have 20G. I really hope they sort this out and give me back my 1700G for black ops. I was close to hitting my 130,000G milestone :O

On Xbox.com everything is still normal for me anyway. Had to cehck the date to make sure it wasn't April 1st

Xbox.com has all my games and gs for them but I still only have 40gs grrr

If signing out and back in isn't working, some people have been posting/tweeting that redownloading your profile works.

Ai what Graham said, re downloading/ recovering profile is meant to help. But they advise if it doesn't work straight away that you should leave it a while and recovering it over and over could corrupt it

Yeah tried that too. No luck, so gonna leave it n hope I dont have to do anything else.

How could this happen, you reckon they've been hacked?

It was due to an update or something like that.

This was just realeased:

According to the firm: “The issue that some customers were experiencing with zero Achievements and Gamerscores has now been resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. You may need to log off and log back in for the information to be updated.”

The issue was reported earlier this morning, with Microsoft stating it was “aware of the problem” and was looking into the issue.

Re-downloaded my profile and it's fixed

So....it affected me after all. Lost all my Mass Effect 3 achievements, so I'm in the middle of recovering my profile to see if that helps. Only noticed after going back to it and I unlocked the Recruit achievement for getting 250 kills. Funny thing is though is that my score hadn't changed and it still added the 10g to my score.....so technically I've scored the same 10g twice.

Yeah am currently recovering mine. Said I had 0g in ME3, my first though was to play it again and see if I got double gamerscore for the game but then thought it might cause problems further down the line :/

Profile restored and all is well. 10g removed.

If you redownload your profile that should solve the problem.

And if it's still not sorted it will be a call to xbox support but that should fix it

yeah I got in touch with the xbox support team because it fixed on my xbox but when I went on xbox.com or anyone else looked at it, it still said 20G. They got me a specialist and told me he'd be in touch within 3 days and could take upto 16 days to fix. It was fixed next day Can't complain
