Called 'Resurgence'

Activision has announced the second map pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, named the Resurgence Pack, will be available for download first on Xbox Live starting June 3. The pack will arrive on PC and PlayStation 3 sometime later.

The Resurgence Pack will include five multiplayer maps. Pricing and map details were not announced.

Activision is hoping this map pack is as successful as the Stimulus Package, the first pack released last March. The Stimulus package set sales records on Xbox Live, selling over one million units in the first 24 hours alone.

So. Map pack one was made with campers in mind. Maybe this time they have actually made some open maps for me to have a snipe around Twisted Evil

didnt bother with the stimulus pack and prob wont botehr with this one either. loved MW2 but it isnt a patch on BFBC2.

also woulnt be surprised if again they are rehashing MW maps and for a ridiculus price

I wouldnt buy them, MW2 is not going to receive any support to fix the hacks,glicthes etc as Activision will now concentratre on their next money cow Black OPS.

love mw2 not got bc2 yet lol but didnt buy the last maps prob wont buy these 1200 points is a joke, most games offer lots of content for 800 points not just 5 blinking maps!

I will keep an eye on these. I still love the game, even with all the problems. bfbc2 I cant get on with it.

I probably won't get this map pack. I bought the Stimulus one and played each map once, and decided I still didn't like the game anymore. I'm not willing to spend another £10 on it.

oxm.co.uk reports; 'As with Stimulus Package, Resurgence Pack will see two maps return from Modern Warfare - in this case, Vacant and Strike'. How many map packs do they have to release before we have the entire COD 4 back catalogue?!?!

I'll probably will get these as I love MW2 and I also think that there is no other game out there that can touch it in my opinion.

Bad company 2 is a much better game imo. After playing after a long break it seemed bad, but once you get into it you'll be hooked Wink

The new maps are Carnival, which is a disused amusement park, Trailer Park, which is pretty self-explanatory and Fuel, which is an oil refinery and is described as a sniper haven.

The two converted Call of Duty 4 maps are Vacant and Strike.

Again, the cost of three new maps and two re-cycled maps is 1200 MS Poin


(almost forgot to mention) while it is still expensive all the previos map packs for cod 4 & 5 were 800 ms points for just 3 maps so the price per map is still cheeper than the previous 2 games at least
