Bungie signs 10 year deal with Activision!

Looks like Activision are getting over the Infinity Ward mess by signing up another of the worlds heavyweight FPS producers!

I know this is just a publishing deal, and Bungie are still independent, but what odds on a Bungie-produced Modern Warfare 3? Modern Warfare + Halo MP.......could be awesome.

26 Key people have now left Infinity Ward. We all know where they are ending up, so Activision had to sign somebody.
Microsft still own Halo and any new titles will be owned by Bungie, so this is much more of a straight publishing Deal. It would seem that this is a huge crap sandwich eat for Activision however. All they have left is the brand " Modern warfare" and the codes of the previous games. All the people who actually created the game have gone. The next Modern warfare is the equivalent of a "best of" compilation album, a rehash of all the previous material with 2 new tracks at the end. It will sell, but you've seen/ heard it all before.
