More arcade sticks work with PS4 than most know

Lab Zero the developer of Skull Girls unknown to most people worked very hard making PS3 arcade sticks compatible with PS4 so that gamers would not have to shell out £100 or so on a new stick. Back in July with the release of Skull girls 2nd Encore on PS4 they succeeded in this and also said they'd open this up so that other developers can use the code and make almost all PS3 arcade sticks work with PS4. With the upcoming release of Street Fighter V in February, I'm very curious if Capcom will take this on board and also make all PS3 sticks work with the game.

Do you think other developers will allow PS3 arcade sticks to be used? Or perhaps there will be pressure from Hardware manufacturers not to allow it.

It would be a very good thing, but I'm sure hardware developers will resist in whatever way they can of course. Players shouldn't have to fork out again for high end sticks. They cost enough.
