Xbox live friends down

Xbox Live is currently suffering from a number of problems across both Xbox One and Xbox 360 in the UK. But don’t worry! Microsoft is on the case.

The Xbox Live Status page has noted several problems since this morning, affecting friends list info and a couple of other bits and bobs.

“Having difficulties managing your Friends or Profiles?” asks the update. “Us too, but we're already working hard to address this issue! We’re grateful for your patience in the meantime, Xbox members. We’ll update you as soon as we have more information.”

Those other bits and bobs we mentioned include OneDrive access on Xbox 360 and Sky GO streaming. Microsoft assures users that they’re on the case.

Noticed this last night. Luckily I was already in a party with the friend I was playing with when it happened, so we were still able to connect to each other through the party app. Guess I'll be flying solo if they don't have it fixed by the time I'm home tonight.

I've noticed this as well and was wondering why my dashboard on the One was not showing me my online friends. Didn't know about the 360 though, hopefully they get it fixed soon

It was affecting windows phone friends lists too

Friends on smartglass wont work either. Making it difficult to play with friends.

Looking at the status just now, everything seems to be up and running again - hoorah
