E3 to be streamed live on Xbox Live.

For the first time ever, you'll be able to watch the Electronics Entertainment Expo right on your Xbox 360 dashboard. Major Nelson announced today that Microsoft will be streaming their 90-minute keynote speech right over Xbox LIVE next month. The move is just another in a step towards making the 360 an all-encompassing media hub. It will also be shown on Spike TV, like last year. Those of you without access to Spike TV but with Xbox LIVE will be able to tune in to the barrage of gaming news uninterrupted. There will also be pre-show coverage on both outlets a day before the event kicks off.

Finding out what will fill that 90-minute block of announcements is the fun part. However and where ever you watch the expo, what are you hoping or expecting to see? Do you think we'll see a new console announced? Confirmed for the presentation is Microsoft's new music service that will be replacing Zune. Right now it's codenamed "Woodstock", but more details are on the horizon. For gamers though, it would be best to hear about new games first and foremost. E3 kicks off next June and the live stream over Xbox LIVE will take place on June 4th at 12:30p EST.
