Square Enix Sleeping Dogs is the dogs bollox

You play an undercover cop back on his home turf after years in Merkania trying to clean up the rival gangs of Triads

The game has a brilliant and very moving storyline at its core but the additional side events and missions flesh it out to be something far greater than the sum of its already brilliant parts

Initially you might find the hand to hand fighting a little raw but within a short while you get it and then the game just demands your time

The missions contain everything from driving to combat to shooting to boat chases and everything in between. This game comprises of so many genres that you never get bored and it does nearly all of them well. I particularly like the code cracking old skoool Mastermind game.

Graphically its stunning and the remaster version coming out soon must be fucking amazing if its better than this and the voices and acting are all top class

Its a mid range time max for ach/troph too with all of them gettable whilst enjoying every minute you play

I enjoyed this and maxxed it on release and am now doing it all for a second time a couple of years later. All I can say is that if you have it play it and if you don't have it buy it and play it.

there is two weeks of pure gaming enjoyment for you

deffo both in top 10 games of last gen for me

I love this game got it on 360 when it was released and hammered it until I completed it, I'm a big fan of Kung fu and hong kong action films so it was perfect for me may even pick up the xbox one version and give it another blast

Yeah this is a great game, never really knew much about it and only decided to give it a go when it was free, enjoyed every second of it though. Might have to get the xbone version when it's out.
