Dead Island 2 Announced

Deep Silver has announced that Dead Island 2 will be coming to consoles, promising more first-person zombie bludgeoning, no doubt with a new motley crew of co-op characters. This time Spec Ops: The Line dev Yager will be taking the reins.

The CG reveal trailer doesn't give much away, but the game will utilise Unreal Engine 4 and is set in California, which has been transformed into a restricted zone. The story picks up months after the events on Banoi, and sees up to eight players now clubbing together to mash up some undead hordes.

Dead Island 2 is slated for spring 2015 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC

i quite enjoyed the trailer but don't really have much interest in the game.

They'd have to do something really special for me to have any interest in this, Riptide was terrible.

Wasn't impressed with Riptide, so not sure I will have much interest in this

I am a sucker for any game with Zombies in it though!

Nice trailer, getting tired of zombie games though guess they are popular though as they keep making more
