I love plants vs. zombies 1&2 but I'm undecided about this one, think I will wait to see a few reviews before deciding

Re: PLants vs Zombies garden warfare
i really dont think that this is gonna work. I loved the 2d esk gaming that was the other games and tryna make it into a 3d cod style game is a looser for me.
Really not sure what to make of it and how it will play? likle others have said maybe a review first before playing

Re: PLants vs Zombies garden warfare
Makes me feel a bit like EA is trying to milk the appeal of the brand to make a bit of cash, I'm hoping to be proved wrong though!

Re: PLants vs Zombies garden warfare
I am also unsure about this game, although I am getting it due to not having much else to play on the Xbox One until Metal Gear and Titanfall, my mate twisting my arm abit aswell as he seems to be very excited about it, for what reasons I'm unsure but anyway it's a game to play together so if it's no fun we can grit and bare it together.

I'm not good at full reviews. Although the last mini review I did turned into a full one so *shrugs* who knows

Going to avoid reviews until I have had a crack, but I'm glad you like the look of it from that as I trust your judgement

First impressions?
Literally only had a quick bash on it but so far, fun, colourful child friendly gears of war IMO.
There's a horde mode which was pretty fun on first go and the team death match was pretty cool. Looking forward to having another crack on it and unlocking some more stuff.
So far I'm really liking it, hope to get a bit more written down ASAP.

Re: PLants vs Zombies garden warfare
ive been playing this all weekend and i must say this game is fun as hell, you level up each class by doing challenges at every level so for example a level 1 could be kill 3 zombies and use special power 5 times, they get harder as you level up of course and some require you kill players aka multiplayer mode not garden ops
garden ops is sooooo good its like gears judgment hoarde mode, 10 levels and you can put different plants in pots to help protect your garden
if you love pvz and shooters then you will love this game easily

Re: PLants vs Zombies garden warfare
One of my friends who's been playing this said the horde mode is very similar to the multiplayer is Mass Effect with the way the waves work including an extraction and you earn points in it that lets you buy packs to get consumables and increase your skills.
Considering Mass Effect 3 probably has the most detailed and interest horde mode around this is a good compliment. Personally I don't like cutesy cartoon graphics so I won't be picking it up. Anyway Titanfall out soon so it would be tossed aside (for a long time I hope) then anyway.

Re: PLants vs Zombies garden warfare
I'm really enjoying it although I find alot of the challenges irritating! Although what I've done is got all my characters to level 5 for the achievement and now I only use characters I like

now you mention it yes it does actually, you buy packs which gives you new multiplayer charcthers and replenishes your plants that you can pot
then extraction is annoying as nobody relaises to stay away until the last few seconds and they over run and die
really really enjoying this game and seeing as it was a 'budget' title its really value for money
