Assassin's Creed II last day of freeness today, so here's what to expect next month.

Crackdown - 1st to the 16th
Dead Rising 2, Dead Rising 2: Case Zero - 17th to the 31st

If you're German you get Shadowrun and Lost Planet 2.

I didn't get on with the first one but I will try this for nowt

I didn't like the first Dead Rising either due to:

• Annoying saving
  
• A huge area but not given the time to explore it
  
• Clunky controls
  
• Psychopaths which are impossible to kill if you happen to stumble across them unprepared
  

I really enjoyed Case Zero so thought I would give DR2 a bash as it follows on and also supports co-op. Unfortunately the game is still plagued by the exact same problems I have listed above for the first, so once again I never managed to complete it. It really sucks because after a few tweaks the game could really be very enjoyable. Damn Capcom!

I'd still try it for free if I were you guys though - you might feel differently to me. I will be interested to see what you think!

Damn it 15 days is not enough to complete a game, I've still got a few orbs to collect on crackdown!!

looking forward to trying Dead Rising 2 as I have never played it, did play the first one but didn't really give it ago.

Why the time frame fella? Yo have it now so no rush. If its due to a lack of hardrive space, I'm sure now you have technically purchased it you should be able to re download it whenever

More of a personal challenge.My catalogue of games is very small so I thought I'd aim to try and complete as many as quickly as possible, so trying to finish each free game in the time alloted so I can move onto a new one. Currently working on crackdown and Fable 3, though I'll start on DEad rising tomorrow!

Excellent. I've never played any dead rising titles. I do like the look of dead rising 3 on the xbox one so it'll be nice to try the second one out. I'm glad I'm not German as I've already got Lost Planet-2 though I've not started it.

Also worth nothing that Case West is 50% off for 400MSP too

Yep, although it has been that sale price before. I would probably try it for 200MSP, but I hear the co-op is broken too. 

Case Zero is also now FREE of course, as previously mentioned. Nice easy 200G from that too.

Good luck with LP2. I found it to be extremely disappointing, even in co-op. I dread to think how boring it would be in single player!
