Call of Duty 7 - Vietnam???

Activision has announced , with not at all predictable news, that there will be another COD game out this November with Treyarch taking their bi-annual stab at this money making series. It seems all the rumours are pointing to a Vietnam setting this time out, just wondered what everyone thought, would Vietnam be a welcome addition to the COD franchise?

I think its a good idea. At least its not another WW2 campaign. Im sure it will be good.

Will be very impressed if they can do it well. Have played a few vietnam games on the PC and the only one that was any good was Vietcong.

They should do a Call of Duty: Miners Strike, Where everyone runs around with pik axes and hard hats.

Instead of grenades we throw coal at each other.

I cant remember where I seen it but the chat went along the lines of:

bot all the maor battles have been convered from ww2 yet, and there are a couple that can still be looked at and it is a possibility.

Personally I want the vietnam theme, I would love to see that!!

my dad, grandad and great grandad were all miners. i think they should give a % of the profits to me

My Grandad was too . He was working for em when the strikes happened, the pit lane was literally just outside his garden gate, and that's where all the riots happened. Well that's the Doncaster Strike anyways, the stainforth bit.

Won't be inteterested in this as not a fan of Treyach attempts at the COD games.

Looks pretty likely it will be set in the 60s in Vietnam. A very confident CVG article here quoting unnamed Activision sources
