Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Dated
Microsoft have announced that the highly anticipated backwards compatibility will launch for all users on the 12th November.
The current list of backwards compatible games is as follows:

New titles will be added regularly so keep an eye out HERE and if you don't see a game you want on the service remember to vote for it HERE

Yeah there are a load that have been announced, this list is only the ones that are working now on the preview, will try and dig out the announced ones and update

I see no sports games mentioned but they quickly become obsolete anyway, what with roster changes and servers being shut down etc.

No, you can use the save from the 360 versions. You simply need to have loaded the save to the cloud from the 360.
All my saves are on the cloud anyway after a few people had their 360's stolen or broken I started backing all my shit up
