All future Xbox 360 Games With Gold titles will be backwards compatible with Xbox One, Microsoft has announced.

Speaking during the company’s Gamescom 2015 press conference, Microsoft revealed that every free Xbox 360 Games With Gold title from now on will work with both consoles. Great news!

This effectively means that if you only own an Xbox One you’ll get twice the Games With Gold titles every month. And even if you also own an Xbox 360 it’s going to save you time faffing about changing consoles. Nice.

That is great news. Nice find there Kent. I am right that the xboxone will take a external hard drive? Sorry for the noob question. If it does I need a big one but cheap Wink any ideas?

Yes mate, and they are a doddle to set up too. Just plug them in and format and you're ready to go.

I recently bought a Western Digital 2Tb passport drive, which should see me on for a while. I would have gone for a 4Tb one, but it was a case of what I could get in store with the gift cards I'd got free.
