3DS vs Vita
First topic message reminder :
So I fancy getting a hand held for my breaks at work, but I'm undecided between the two. So come on people convince me which way I should go?

Hard to call for me. I'd just say the 3DS

Re: 3DS vs Vita
the fact that I can go into my download history on the vita and load up all of the ps1 titles I got for free on pissy plus over the years and the minis and play them is great
the screen is large enough to see for my old eyes
I have warmed to the vita and its certainly the better device for me

Re: 3DS vs Vita
I would say the Ds.
You have the entire back catalog or normal ds games, the option of an r2 card for indie type games (or if you are really naughty pretty much any normal ds game :p), a great choice of RPGs plus, if your lad was over he would probably enjoy it mor / there are more child friendly games available for it
Having said that I have never tried a vita sooo that could make my opinion completely void.
I haven't got on with a proper ninty console since the Super Nintendo, hated the 64 and my wii. But I always have enjoyed their handhelds

Re: 3DS vs Vita
I have both and the Vita is my go to handheld.
PS plus means you get at least 2 new games for it every month, so it has to be the better option.
Graphics better, battery life better, controls better with twin sticks.
Only people who don't own a vita would pick the 3DS.

Re: 3DS vs Vita
I went for the 3DS in the end anyway. I appreciate the points about the Vita but having to pay a sub for that benefit seems silly when I use it for quick bursts of gaming, if I had a ps3 too it may be different though.
