Monkey Island creators to create new game!!

Best news ever!!! It seems Ron Gilbert (Manic Mansion, monkey Island, Deathspank) is working with Double Fine studios on a new game. As you probably know Double Fine is headed by Tim Schafer (Monkey island, Brutal Legend, Psychonauts, Costume Quest and Iron Brigade AKA Trenched (out this week!!)). He has said very little except that the idea for the game predates Monkey Island and Manic Mansion and has released these two pictures.

The characters are labelled the Mobster and the Scientist this is all we have to go on, but undoubtedly this is going to be an amazing game!!
