Assassins Creed movie tbc

The other day me and CZ were watching Prince of Persia and thought an Assassins Creed film could be awesome. I decided to google to discover that it is probably going to happen.

It seems Sony have registered around 14 varying URLs like 'assassins-creed-themovie.net' etc

Which got us discussing where we think they will start it? At the beginning? With Ezio? Maybe some where in the middle? Will they cross over to the present with Desmond and Lucy? (I'd hope so)

Who should play Altair, Ezio, Desmond? Should Kirsten Bell jump straight into the part of Lucy because her character is voiced by her and looks like her?

Thoughts? Opinions? Discuss!

I'm sure there are some who would prefer this film never sees the light of day but for now I remain open and optimistic that they can do something good with it!

I've heard about this quite a lot recently. One version I heard of this was that Ubisoft were going to produce the film and Sony distribute it. Hopefully this will mean a much closer version to the original plot. However I wouldn't hold your breath on it being out soon. I also found an article in which Ubisoft were going to wrap up Desmond's story in Assassins Creed up next December to tie in with the in-game date of December 2012 being the date for the Templars to enact their plan. So next year will probably see Assassin's Creed 3 finally released and then the film will probably be released after that encompassing all three games but mainly concentrating on Desmonds story than the intricacies of Ezio and Altair.

I don't mind waiting for it I'm looking forward to how they will tackle it

I still haven't decided ont eh perfect desmond (in my head) yet lol.

Could be good. If they get a good cast and director behind it there is no reason why it could not be a good release

I think either this or Bioshock could be the one that proves that video games can make good movies if they try.

I hope so, nothing has really been released yet.
