Frustration at completion %
I seem to find my self getting more and more frustrated with the way your profile now handles gamer score.
For example, I have maxed out Oblivion but I haven't finished the DLC. So my profile doesn't include it as a maxed game. There are quite a few games we don't have the DLC for and because of this it will never show as 100% maxed out because the DLC has not been compleated. I think thats a bit wrong. If you have maxed out the original game, the DLC should be counted on its own!
Thats my gripe for the day any way lol. Does it bother any one else?

Re: Frustration at completion %
If i know i have done what was needed to be done for the original 1000 then i don't care what stats say.
For example Phantasy Star online, i have done the full 1000 for that yet refuse to pay an extra subscription to earn the other cheebles.
I can be ignorant like that tho lol

I wouldn't say it bothers me much, but do think it should be done like they do TrueAchievements, and have seperate lists for dlc.

Re: Frustration at completion %
As long as it's on your list here it's a maxed game. I've got Dante's Inferno listed under my completed games, but I've never finished the DLC. It annoys me, because the main game was a fairly easy 1000, but the second chunk of DLC was just ridiculous.
Also.....in my head, I've maxed Family Game Night, but because Scrabble was never released outside North America, it will forever show on my profile 200 points short.

Re: Frustration at completion %
Agree with Schizo, not overly bothered, but would be nice if they'd class the DLC as a separate entity.
Re: Frustration at completion %
I agree its a rip to make us buy the DLC.
The whole achievement system is both awesome and annoying.
Its genius in making us more brand loyal though.

Re: Frustration at completion %
It doesn't bother me, I don't count a game as being complete until it is DLC and all! I go by what my Xbox has told me is complete.

If I have finished the original 1000 gp to me thats compleat. I don't include the DLC because it's an optional extra there fore it shouldn't screw up the compleation of a game, it should be seperate, other wise I feel like they are trying to force me to buy something I might not actually want

I see where you are coming from, I want everything so never really have an issue with buying anything I don't want. The majority of games come with DLC now and I expect to have to buy DLC to complete (according to my dashboard) a game.

Re: Frustration at completion %
I don't consider a game to be completed until the dashboard does either. Case in point is Frontlines: Fuel of War. I had the full 1000gs, but I didn't have a zero point achievement, this meant that the dashboard didn't count it as completed. It bugged me so much, that I got the game again and did the zero point achievement and now the game is completed.
If only I could do that on another game - Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth 2, I'd be a happy little completionist. Sadly I can't, as the games servers have been shut down and the missing zero point achievement involves losing 10 multiplayer games in a row.

The achievement in Da Vinci Disappearance DLC for Assassin Creed Brotherhood was the most annoying thing for me.
100% all missions from original and DLC, er.... no thanks, think i'd rather snap the disc and eat it.
When I first started AC:B I originally went for 100% all missions but about half way through the game when no hit and not being spotted (espically when in some maps then hide guards round corners and the camera won't swing that far) started popping up I soon ignored it.

Re: Frustration at completion %
It doesn't bother, but what confuses me is the new way your percentages are calculated on Xbox.com
They go by your percentage of the achievements you have, not by gamerscore.
You may have only 700GS from a game, but because you've got say, 36 out of 40 achievements, your percentage is 90% not 70%
I personally go by score and not achievements in this regard.

Re: Frustration at completion %
it really is one of my pet hates this
It is different on all of the sites that i go on. True achievements is a bugger for it every time i start a new game it goes down and i wanna try get it towards 35% complete but cant help but start new games. I am gonna have to have a major clean up sometime soon and get some old titles finished off.

Actually I had the same problem with AC:Brotherhood, but when I went back to finish off the remaining missions I found it was actually really easy if you used your brotherhood to take out a lot of the enemies as it doesn't count as you being spotted.
I'm in both camps when it comes to the DLC. I'm quite proud of my completion score and I have even gone so far as to buy the DLC for Stranglehold which is still 1200MSP. However I do think it is unfair that the system on Xbox is flawed, some games don't show DLC until you've bought it while others do. I'm a sucker though and will always try to get DLC achievements too. If a game has glitched achievements or shut servers I'll either avoid it or not worry if I don't get a full 100% as its impossible for me to get.

Re: Frustration at completion %
I get alot of my games from an online rental site, this caused me some issues with dlc and have ended up with a backlog. It seems the developers wait untill i post the game back to release dlc. There is alot of pointless dlc released, that has been put out just to take more of my money and is over in 30mins - If i enjoyed the game / original 1k, il buy the dlc - I hope more develpoers go the route of Brink or LA Noire etc, Brink gave the dlc free on release of said dlc for 2 weeks, and for LA Noire it was 800 ms points at one point, for all future dlc - I like this as it seems like we are getting a bargain - And i for one love bargains, especially Deals of the week. This is where i buy most of my dlc now.
