New feature coming to WP7 with Mango

Normally I'd wait till my weekly catchup of all things WP7 to put news in but this is so cool, I had to mention it now (especially as its too hot to do the catchup yet). Simply put you can now text by voice!!

Now I apologise if I'm being a bit of ignorant fool and this has been around for awhile now and I didn't know but this sounds amazing. So when you get a message you can have it read out to you, in a similar way to when someones texts your land line, but you can then say reply and speak your message back. It then repeats your message and lets you send it if its correct. This is a must for people who drive as this is one of the few things which still requires you to touch your phone.

Again if this is old hat then my apologies, but if not this could be a major boost for WP7 phones!!

So you can send a voice message like you can over xbox live? Could be useful at times.

3 weeks until i can get my upgrade at the earliest. Wanted a Samsung Omnia 7, but they don't seem to have them on either the Orange website or instore at the moment. Hoping this is because a newer handset is due...

I get mine at the beginging of September. I got confused about the months before thinking it was this month meh. Oh well only 4 and a bit weeks

Got my HTC Mozart yesterday and I am very happy with my decision. Looking forward to the mango update. Does anyone have a release date?

I think its sometime in the autumn though no definite date has been given.

And Tricky its not a voice message as such. You say the message and it turns your spoken message into a text message to be sent

That's the phone I've been considering. Glad to hear you're happy with it. Might just have persuaded me to take the plunge.

Does the mozart have office on it?

I'm in two minds between the mozart (great camera so I've read) or the HD7 (bigger screen)

I think all WP7 phones should have Microsoft Office in them as its part of the whole package but don't quote me on that

Yes it indeed has office. But think tenlo is correct in saying that all wp7 phones come with office installed
