Shift 2 problem....

Ok.....I've had this game for a while now, but I've only just got around to playing it. Well....I say playing it.

Every time I load the game up, it says it can't connect to autolog and then gets stuck on the 'connecting to autolog servers' screen......it's just constantly loading. Tried loading the game about 4 times now, but the same thing happens each time.

This a common issue? Anyone know how I can get around it and ACTUALLY PLAY THE GAME???

Not sure if it would work with Shift 2, but when I used to have probs connecting to EA's servers with FIFA 10, I was advised to reset the console clock to 15 Nov 2005. That seemed to cure the problem (I was having trouble connecting to the NFS: Shift servers at the same time, and this cured it).

The clock automatically reset itself, but had no probs connecting to either server after that.

Of course, it could just be that EA servers are cack

The even bigger problem is how pap shift 2 is when compared to the AWESOME Shift 1

Still can't sign in to autolog, which means i cannot redeem my online pass.....have managed to have a couple of races, but cannot get this game online at all.

i have had trouble in recent weeks with hot pursuit but nothing that i could not get on at all.

This is a weird one have you tried EA support see if they know about the problem

Have you tried signing out of Xbox Live and then signing back in? That worked for a friend of mine when he first got the game.

Actually, I did get disconnected at one point, but when I signed back in it made bugger all difference.

I'll give it another go later. If it's still not working then I'll get on to EA.

I think you will probably find that as the game has been out for 20 minutes that they have switched off the servers

Maybe there is a solution here?
