E3 summary

I was VERY underwhelmed by all the E3 announcements.

I guess the TV stuff was the most interesting to me.

Everything else was predictable and no news really.

In the sense that I predict in a decades time people will be playing MW10 and Halo10 and FIFA 22

Hope the new nintendo machine wows us all

Have to agree really mate which is a shame as I was hoping for some exciting new announcements, I mean the core games that were shown all look really good but lacking a bit in innovation. I've got high hopes for the nintendo one and hope their new console has some cool stuff going on, particularly with MS devoting a big chunk of their of their time to attempting to recreate the wii circa 2007 with a lot of the kinect stuff

I dont want to play a game that I played ten years ago
If I wanted to play a Wii I would have one already
The TV stuff looks like it was aimed at the US market as we already have SKY
Am I the only one who noticed Lara screaming like every damn ten seconds of that demo??
Too many sequels and remakes for me.

Don't get me wrong I really liked what was shown and there are loads of games I'm looking forward to just would have been nice to see some new non sequel games shown and I'm still non convinced by kinect, the fable game looked decent but it remains to be seen if they can do something really cool with it or whether it will just be an on rails shooter, the star wars game didn't even look like it was being controlled by him (perhaps there are some lag issues that need working out?) the disney and sesame street games look great if you have kids and the kinect bits in forza, ghost recon and mass effect looked interesting but nothing that has convinced me to purchase one yet
