Trials HD

OK, who said Trails HD was easy achievments? I have spent hours trying to get over that damb first box on King of the Hill!!!

I have tryed praying, pleading, crying, even threatening to the XBOX Gods, but i still cant get over that bloody box!!! ...agghhh!!!

Anyone have any tips please?

Ive given up on that game cuz I get soooo angry with it, how I aint launched the controller through a window with it I really dont know.

I've never said Trials HD has easy achievements, in fact its got some of the hardest cheevs in any game i've played.

But it is easily the best xbla game i've ever played, and if they released a full price version full of all new content i'd be 1st in line to buy it!

As for tips, try watching videos of other peoples goes, and pay attention to the button presses (shown in the bottom corners). This might help you get a better idea of what you need to do, but it will still take time!

For the videos you can either go to the leaderboards and download the videos of the people with the best times, or theres youtube, where you'll probably get a voiceover too.

Haha, I remember this well........but then when you do get over that obstacle it is certainly worth it.
Class game, one of the best I own, with any luck there will be more DLC for it.

Just stick with it, and as Tricky said, watch the videos on the leaderboards, gives great insites in how to get past certain parts.

Thanks for the info. I didnt know you could watch video replays ingame, ill study them and hopefully figure it out.

Midlife I just got over the box and finisher the level, what makes it better is that toy get a nice chevo after finishing the level only 20points but they all count.
shit me it took me bout an hour with just 13 mins on the clock.
Lets see whats in store on the next levels shall we.

Just gone through it again and got my time down from 13.50 with 160 falls to 5.55 with 57 falls.
Im amazed at the fastest time by Tricky tho how the flump he has done that I do not know.

I have actually completed it under 1:34 but with more faults, and unfortunately it only counts your best time with the lowest number of faults. I even had a few goes tonight trying to finish it with no faults but no luck...

You will get better though the more you play!

I used this guide when I was struggling on a couple of achievements. I'm still nowhere near finishing the game though, don't think I'll ever finish some of those extreme tracks.

Tricky and stucowie your times are impressive I brought some of the DLC yesterday and no idea how you got some of them. Some courses were peeving me off so I'm having a break before going back lol

Your not alone there monkey, i tried beating some of their times andf they are officailly impossible. those guys are trials hd machines.

Theres a couple of tracks i can't catch you on though Gary!

Since i have all the cheevs on this i'm just trying to get all the gold medals when i play now!

Hope you dont mind but I have sent some friend requests out to people in this thread.
Would be nice to have some more times showing on my Trials leaderboards to compare against, cheers

After looking at the leaderboards i have realised that some of our times are really close, i must have been competing with you in my own mind. think i may revisit this and try to max it, only 2 cheebles left to get.

I got loads left to get, I'm never gunna max this so I just play for fun (which quickly turns to frustration at taking over 200 attempts at one little obstacle! lol)

You guys have got me wanting to play this again now! Think i'll load it up at some point! Some impressive times you guys!

Well i've got the Trials bug again lol.

I'm now trying to get all my gold medals (not holding out much hop for the extreme tracks). I've got all the golds on Beginner and Easy now, and only a few left in the Medium tracks.

Its such a great feeling when you get a track just right, and the gold medal pops up (its almost as good as unlocking cheevos).

I think I've compleated one extreme track... I just couldn't do it and the want/ need to throw my control at the tv became so great I gave up on them lol. I might try them again one day but for now I am happy with the lower levels lol.

Although having gone back to it after having such a break I'm strugling just with the new medium levels lol

How on earth are you that much faster on Race Or Die (medium level)? have been trying to get that 5 seconds down for ages!

what bike do you usually go for Tricky? I keep wanting to use the faster ones but I can't handle the responsive handleing lol

Think I'll get this out again and see if I can shave a few seconds off my times! we should get a GSA leaderboard going

The 250cc trials bike, not the scorpion motorcross one!

Think I'm going to need to do lot's of practicing on the easy levels with the other bikes to get used to them lol.
