The Freedom to "Game"!

Although I don't really play whore games, I am pretty obsessed with achievements and as a result, I can't usually bring myself to play anything non-360 these days.

This week however, I've had a sudden change of psyche or something and I've found it quite liberating to dust off the old PS2 and Dreamcast and actually play a game properly and without having to grind some ridiculous task like, "Pick 116,000 flowers" or "trump on 9 million chickens".

I've really enjoyed strolling through God Of War 2 at my leisure, and once i've completed it, I can play something else if I want, I don't have to force myself to play it again, because there are no cheevs, and nobody will know that I haven't "walked 165 in-game miles" or whatever!!

Might finally get through some of the previous Gen back catalogue now at last. Next up.......Jade Empire..........Until the need to reach 50,000GS takes over again!!


How do you guys go on with playing non 360 games!?

i rarely touch them now, though if i find a cheap copy of ico or Shadow of the Colossus i may try them out. I had a spell of WoW for awhile but haven't touched it for awhile. Now you mention it though i may try and get back into it, as my other half has stopped.

On another note, you should play Jade Empire definitely one of the best Bioware RPG's plus John Cleese as an eccentric englishman

The only game that I play regularly not on xbox is Football Manager. Theres a wii somewhere in the house but I think ive only ever bought one game for it!

I play PC games every so often. I spent an hour playing Minecraft with a mate earlier.

I have about 30 games in steam, and about 8 in the games for windows client.

I've had Jade Empire for years. I played it for an hour then bought a 360 and never got back to it!

You should definitely play Ico and SOTC. I love those games! I'll never part with those 2 beauties!

I play my Zelda games on my Ninty 64 when I need a 360 break. Can't get enough of them...plus I've just found a glitch in the Temple of Time where you can jump into Super Mario World to get Link a dark tunic,so double excitement for me now

Zelda games are awesome. I'm trying to get my mate to lend me his DS so I can finish off Spirit Tracks. I thought Phantom Hourglass was an awesome game

I have recently taken to playing COD Black Ops on the PS3, all the boys from work play it on there, but i have also started the online on the xbox to balance it out.

There's just too much isn't there!

I have loads of Wii virtual console downloads, PSP downloads, Gamecube (Still haven't started Wind Waker), Dreamcast, PS2 and XBOX 1 games to play, Emulators to mess with. It never ends! And I still crave for a DS and a PS3.

I just don't have time to go to work and have a relationship! She's gotta go I think!

Windwaker is an awesome game. I'm tempted to pick up a gamecube just so I can play it again lol.
