Gears 3 Official release date

Gears of War 3 will launch worldwide on September 20, 2011 (except Japan, which will be 22/9)

Right, so I've got 7 months to stop buying any more new games and finish off the ones I have already. Hope that's enough time as I still can't stop playing Red Dead which means all the unplayed games remain so.
Those 7 months should give Epic plenty of time to iron out all the bugs in the multiplayer too so we should have a thoroughly polished product on release

Just stick a 3 over the 2 your GOW2 box and get someone in mp to speak like a bird

this Seriously sucks

Just been informed by the wife that we are on holiday that week so i will have to wait longer than everyone else, luckily we are only away for one week

Depends where your holiday is. Skegness then maybe I can see why you'd be upset, but if it's The Bahama's or somewhere else hot, sunny and sweaty then I know I'd take the holiday and miss the first week of playing the game quite happily.

At least they might stick to the release date this time. Can't wait until the different editions are annouced so I can decide what to pre-order. I'll probably go for some sort of limited edition, I didn't bother for the other two but I way more in to gears since getting xbox live last year.

I think the american football uniform is for Cole, he used to play thrashball or something, whatever that is.

New screenshots look good, can't wait for September.
