Bullet storm or Marvel vs capcom

My names Jermaine, and im jobseekers finest. I have at least 2 years experience in NOT having a job
and my money has finally gone, I spent it all on drink, drugs and women of the night. Now i get a staggering £55 a week jobseekers allownace. For the next 2 - 3 months i shall not be looking for a job as i have much more pressing matters, like playing xbox, but i can only afford 1 new title.

Marvel vs capcom 3 looks brilliant, and i love beat em ups (3rd in world on tekken) and some of the new characters are the main reason i want to buy it.

But on the other shelf is bulletstorm, and i love fps (1643529th online for black ops free for all) and this looks like it may hold my attention more than mvc3.

Id like to know what the good ppl of GSA would choose and their reasons why.

I'm getting bulletstorm personally. It doesnt look as mundane as typical fps, but i will be honest, the main reason is for the gears 3 beta that you get with the epic edition of the game

Ok i ain't getting it for the beta.
My choice is Bulletstorm for the 4 player co-op shenanigans. Some say it'll get samey.. i don't see how it will... your only experience is of one level from the demo.. play that enough, it gets samey yeah. With the Full game tho, many different levels with different hazards with different weapons as you progress.. how the floop would that get samey.. CoD, is Samey if you want my honest opinion

Not keen on my beat em ups unless they are proper button smashers, and not tech heavy with daft unmemorable combos unless they are written down and within easy line of sight lol

I'm with Scabby, but I'm not a huge beat em though i may give in to MK. Bulletstorm is looking to shape up nicely. You've got a single player campaign which going by Epic in the past should be pretty good. Then you've got the co-op mode which looks like its going to be a lot of fun with friends. But seeing as you like Leaderboards you'll probably enjoy the Echoes mode which consists of parts of the main game with no story elements just pure score whoring.

The demo will give you a taster of the echoes mode and experimenting with different skill shots can keep you entertained especially since the demo allows you to use three games while the full game will give access to all the weapons in Echo mode. So you can spend hours working out the best strategy for maximum points across the levels!!

I played the demo last night and i have to say its very entertaining. the only thing im worried about is the variety of attacks, judging by the demo, u only have the whip, big boot and sliding tackle. I mean how many combinations can you make from 3 moves?? not many. I cant help feel it is going to be very repetetive and get boring real fast.

Thats just in the demo, Cliff B. has already stated in the full game you'll get access to all the weapons, those are just a sample of them

yeah i know theres gonna be a variety of weapons but i mean the variety of melee, like the boot leash and slide, its all good but is it just gonna be leash him, boot him, then shoot with all the diff weapons?? thats gonna get old in no time, dont you unlock new melee along the way??

Not that i know of, you've got a sliding kick. To best see the variety of deaths, search youtube, for skillshots

Bulletstorm looks cool and everything, but it doesn't have Deadpool beating the crap out of people with his energy bar.

And the 50th time of seeing it and hearing him mouth off would get old quicker than Bulletstorm...
