Toy Story 3

A Disney Interactive Game

Graphics are bright and colourful just as youi would expect and are probably the games high point

Sound is sadly annoying, but the voiceovers seem real and the small amount of samples are fine. Its just the repetitive nature of them that grates badly

Gameplay is very varied in appearance but in reality its a jump run leap shoot platformer at heart. It is incredibly fiddly in places though with the old 3D camera angle problems arising at difficult sections far too often. The restart points for some of the annoying parts are just too far back which leads you to wish you had not started the game on a regular basis. The ach are all single player and range from very easy to rather difficult

Overall this is a game that has lots of different aspects to it and really makes an effort to lift it up from your standard movie/cartoon tie in. Sadly the fact that you find yourself doing certain parts over and over again due to bad controls or camera angle stops it from being great and actually makes it a chore. All of the colurful hi res graphics in the world cannot save this pile of toss

4/10

I have to disagree with you on this one Wink

I really enjoyed the game, the story mode was a bit short and 'meh'. But I thought Toybox mode was awesome and really enjoyed playing it.

Well Leigh I tend to agree with your views on games so when I have finally done the last bit of the story and really given the Toy Box a go I will revisit my score

ATM though I want to melt down the disc

i have rented this god knows why it was like choice 11 on my list never mind. Not that bad graphics wise but the gameplay i dont know how a kid could play it seems quite hard.

gamerscore not that bad overall currently have 750 on it and dont think it will be that hard to 1000 he says Rolling Eyes

I am not really liking it any better now I am grinding out the toy box section

It just seems pretty mindless and completly unfocussed

Not labelling what each customization is called is a real PITA too as I cannot really tell what I am supposed to be kitting things out in

And the driving mechanics are poor imho too

The repetitive nature of the soundbites is truly attrocious

I am more than happy to confirm my 4/10 score
