Probably the biggest surprise last night at the VGAs was finally the confirmation of Bethesdas follow up to Oblivion. Excited much ?

Could this not be a situation like with Gears where it was shipped out 5-7 days before release but just held with the delivery people until release day?

*Edit* Thought it came today (8/11/11) turned out to be some crap about MW3 (Game Pre-order stuff) even though I cancelled the pre-order.

Reviews are now out. Mostly getting 10/10 unsurprisingly
here is the IGN review (9.5/10)

I just bought the first one (5th Anniversary Edition) Might as well start at the beginning (Well the beginning of number IV) when I done with what I'd imagine is going to be a long play on that one I'm sure I'll be picking up a copy of this

Been on this for three hours nearly, hardly done anything apart from wander around the world chasing animals and smithing ore.

I was suppose to be helping someone somewhere but I forgot

I think the reviews have swung me. Up to 160 hours play in Dark Souls and on track for 1000g so was gonna give Skyrim a miss for a bit but am going to get it tomorrow now I think

From what I've played so far those reviews are well deserved. Maybe Im just sad I find it really easy just to get lost in scenery, it's breath taking

A friend is getting me this for Xmas, so I have to wait until then to play it.

I'm craving a chance to play some of it though, so am hoping the influx of new releases will tide me over until then haha.

It looks amazing from the reviews and videos i've seen.

I really REALLY want to start stealing but I can't until I at least have a house to store it all.

Thought I'd only played for a couple of hours yesterday and it was just under 5

My character has two arrows stuck in her that won't seem to come out. I've tried sleeping, resting, waiting, potions, stripping... I keep thinking maybe I should just start again to get rid of them but I spent so long making her how I wanted I'm just going to have to live with it.

Just steal then sell it back to the same person your stole it from.

Put buckets on their head, steal their stuff.

Yeah you need a fence unless you get the speech skill to sell to anyone.

As for arrows some people say, saving and reloading may get rid or other people have just waited to get hit by more arrows/spells and they seem to knock others off.

Thankfully the arrows have now gone.

Will wait till I have a house/ fence then.

I've noticed that quest don't auto tell you where to go now. Took me a while to figure out how to pick up a destination marker for a misc quest lol
