Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Just spotted this:

It's not an official release, but all the stuff on there looks very possible. I can't wait for this game, CoD:MW is probably my favourite game ever, even after having played it for over a year I still keep going back. Having co-op in there is sweet.

In the same way that CoD:WaW ripped off CoD:MW and added loads of new ideas (then destroyed the game by making there only 2-3 viable weapons in multiplayer), this looks like it's going to take a lot of the ideas that worked then actually put them in a good game.

I just hope it has some attainable online achieves.
COD4 was a letdown on that front.

I agree with you in a way, but at the same time, online achievements are often insanely hard/long winded to get. It'd be nice to get something from multiplayer, but I also don't really like thinking "I have to kill 5 people this way, then shoot someone with that gun", I just like to maul people Very Happy

i am not a massive fan of fps but i loved cod 4 so i am quite looking forward to this one

I loved COD 4. I agree with what Kent said in that there should be multiplayer achievements in Modern Warfare 2. Also just pre-ordered mine from Game for £39.99, well worth it.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Dated For Nov. 10 In First Trailer

Activision and Infinity Ward capped off tonight's Game Developers Conference Awards with the first trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Tim Schafer described it as the complete opposite of baby pictures.

The trailer starts with the Infinity Ward logo, with background noise on a green waveform turning into a series of human shaped silhouettes, then an elevator door. The perspective changes to inside the elevator, still in green sound outlines. The elevator descends, opening up to what appears to be an airport security line. Then a hail of gunfire, a flash of green tinted action shots and ultimately the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 logo.

Then the date November 10, 2009. No gameplay footage was shown, but it was a super classy trailer. Well, you can see it for yourselves now, thanks to GameTrailers.

well that is a nice trailer, enjoyed the first modern warfare, esp with the marines bit, but just wondering why dont they do a veitnam or korea call of duty, i reckon they have some intensive battles

I can't wait,I still play Cod 4 almost every time I turn on my xbox hard core team d match(not very good at it, Im a bullet magnet) so if this is aS GOOD AS I hope we should get 2 good years out of it. What a Face
