Crackdown

I've recently started playing this, and i'm already hooked on finding the Orbs!

I started off at first just running around collecting them, but have now progressed to using a map, taking some advice off Kent i'm concentrating on clearing 1 area at a time.

So i'm currently running around Los Muertos, and i've got about 200 of them, can anyone tell if there is a stats page or something that tells me how many i've collected? as at the moment it only tells me when I collect 1!

I have recently started playing this too mate lol, its does get addictive and frustrating when you get side tracked into collecting the orbs lol.

theres two maps on there m8 with both sets on i think what you are looking for

Hey if you go into the section where the acheivements are and scroll down to the orb one it will bring up a map of every orb you have got so far and tell you how many you still have left to collect in each area. It makes it much easier hunting down those last few orbs if you have a compleated map to compare it too.

Thank you Monkey, thats exactly what i was wanting, i've already got some maps of Orb locations, just wanted to check how many i'd got in Los Meutos so far!

Theres one i'm gonna have to leave till later as i can't jump high enough for it yet! But i've marked it on my map to collect later!

I've already decided that as soon as i finish this i'm getting the 2nd one!

Ohh... I thought you meant crackdown2, does it work for 1 as well? I'd be interested to know as I still haven't got all the orbs yet.

Ah no in Crackdown 1 it doesn't.. I said thanks before i even tried it!

Sorry Rick. Good luck I know the maps I posted previously are very accurate, CZ used them to find each of them.

The new Crackdown 2 thing helps big time!

Problem with the crackdown2 thing is, when you scroll down to the orbs you want, it shows all of them, even if you have collected them or not.. so you will still need to do some hunting at the end of the day lol
I am on my last 60ish for 500 Agility orbs, have just over half the hidden orbs too. Can't be bothered to do the driving renegade orbs just yet. Tbh i may get more orbs on this than i did for the 1st one lol

Well i've got all but 1 (211/212) on the Los Meurtos district, but i know where the one i need is. Its at the top of a tower and i cant seem to get up to it!

Will leave it till my agility is higher, and hopefully i'll get upto it easier. i've also done all but 2 of the gang leaders.

Max out your agility and it shouldnt be a problem.. Also consider doing some rooftop races, as that gives you agility points if I remember rightly.

Got all 212 agility orbs in Los Meurtos now, had another go at getting up the tower and made it much easier, i must have been doing something wrong.

Only the main gang boss and the Hidden Orbs to go now!

Thats odd, it didn't when CZ was looking for them as I was counting areas to see which ones he did and didn't have to find his last agility orb. Thats how we found his last one

My game is now glitching quite badly, gang members driving around in imaginary cars, sections of the map and some building walls missing.

I don't know if the game was bad for glitching or if its just my still rather badly scratched disc?

I think i'm gonna have to bite the bullet and buy another copy as i'm really enjoying it so far, but think i'll get really annoyed if the glitching keeps it up.

Don't rememeber us ever having any problems with glitching. It is a great game

think it must be your copy mate, i never had any problems with mine and i have played it through about 10 times.

Well my copy of Crackdown, has just been through the disc polisher at Blockbusters (twice) and is looking a hell of a lot better than it was!

Hopefully this will cure the glitches and i can crack on with hunting down the Orbs!

I've also been told that they patched the game so it should install on the harddrive now, its currently at 80% which is further than it got when i tried it before.

I'll report back with how it goes later!

Yay my copy of crackdown is now glitch free, and playing from the Hard drive.

when i have finally finished 2 it looks like 1 is going back in the drive!

I've just ordered Crackdown after playing the demo. I can see it being extremely addictive looking for all those bleedin' orbs! I told myself i'd stay away from games with millions of collectibles after spending 3 days mopping up Assasin's Creed's bloody flags.

Oh well, I'll never learn. Couldn't resist Crackdown for £4.99!!

Trying to look for all the flags on assassin creed made me want to hurt myself... Looking for orbs on crackdown so much fun! It's one of the few games that I actually like looking for the collectibles.

Damn it, I think im gonna have to go back and play the 1st one now again.. I blame all of you lot if I get addicted!!

There are some good maps knocking around online, I printed a couple off, to mark off orbs as i find them. I also didn't move onto the next area untill i knew i had all the Orbs from the area i was in (just wish i'd done the same for the hidden ones).

I'm on the last area now with approx 450 agility orbs!
