Sad sign of the times

The internet has been great for lots of things but its also killed several industries.
I love reading magazines and will be sad when more go.
PC Zone was excellent early on, but like a lot of Future Publishing stuff it lost its way a long time ago.
Sad to see it end though
Seen several titles I bought every issue of disappear over the years. Getting older sucks the big wongo

At least Future Publishing's other big PC based magazine PC Gamer is still going strong this is the one that i collected for over 10 years

I bought the kids Gamesmaster magazine about a month ago and out of 210 pages 104 were cheats what is the world coming to? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I used to love the gaming mags all the way from the spectrum ones back in the day with a cassette tape on the front, as with many others the net has gradually taken over and the only one I sometimes purchase is Edge which although a little expensive is a great magazine.
The internet doesn't necessarily mean the death of printed publication as there are many magazines (like the film magazine Empire) where the monthly printed magazine and the website complement each other nicely
