RROD info

Ok so this is probably a stupid question but what is red ring of death? I had a full red ring today and cudnt do nothing. Phoned xbox and they said that a full ring was an AV problem, and 3 sections wasover heating problems. Can anyone clarify this for me. Thanks

I was always told that the full red ring was harddrive failure

1 red light is a hard drive issue, 3 red lights is the internal mother board failure and 4 red lights is an av problem , usually as simple as your cables arent plugged in correctly.
