Most memorable game cutscene

What is the most memorable cutscene you as a gamer have ever witnessed throughout your entire gaming life span?

To kick things off mine is from the first Spyro the dragon game, when all the older dragons were turned to stone/jewels. I have no idea why it is it was just one of those scenes that has stuck with me all this time

Hmmmm I kinda like the open scene on L4D - its kinda sets you up for the rest of the game - but it did make me think OMG what is this game gonna be like! LOL Oh and my opening scene on Motor Storm - views across what looks like the grand canyon but probably isnt LOL

i always liked the opening video from final fantasy 7, it was just really long and the graphics at the time were great

I have been playing Halo Wars and there is a great cutscene where 3 Spartans and Sgt Forge take on and kill a load of Elites. It was great to see how easy it was for the Spartans, it looked as though they never broke a sweat. (yes I know that you can't see there faces).

Bit retro.....but

At the time it seemed like it was lifted direct from the cartoon, not bad for a 7mhz system with 512k of ram!

Have to agree with the Final Fantasy one on that.

The ending scene on metal gear solid four. It was so emotional. Fantastic work.

I think the cutscene that had the biggest impact on me was probably Half-Life 1, when you first push the sample into the beam and it all goes tits up. I thought I'd done something wrong.

Maybe a bit predictable that someone would say it, but the cutscene where Cloud is lowering Aeris into the water. *wipe tear* hehe, that brought a tear to my eye.

it maybe prdictable but it is an awesome cutscene, but to be fair you could pick any one of the cutscenes from that game they were all great

i think if you have a spare 45 mins these 5 videos are worth watching if you have played the game. ohh the memories
