The difference between good and pro
The link below is of pro Street Fighter players Daigo Umehara (Ken) and Justin Wong (Chun-Li) from a tournament in 2004. Now, you have to be a bit of a Street Fighter geek to fully understand why this is such an amazing comeback, but even if you're not, the crowd's reaction is a major clue. Me, I had a bit of a nerdgasm.
In case you're wondering, Daigo isn't blocking, that would cost health, he's parrying - something that only features in Street Fighter III. To parry, you have to tap forward at the precise moment your opponent's punch lands. It was considered a bit too high-level for most players and replaced with the focus attack for Street Fighter IV.

There is some moments in gaming that I will never understand. This is a good example of them

After posting this last night, I decided to have a go at Street Fighter III 2nd Impact: Giant Attack and I can only manage a couple of parries in an entire 3 round match... and I'm a pretty decent Ryu player.
Here's another example. The famously difficult bullet hell shooter, Ikaruga. One player, using both joysticks at the same time to play as 1Up and 2Up and capitalise on the black/white defense and combo system:

I never liked beat em' up games. Always found beating up one person at a time boring. But I do appreciate the coolness of that clip
