Not exactly the most thurough review I've ever read but it seems to suggest pretty strongly that this is work picking up.

Re: First Metro 2033 review
Looks good, I have been following all the information that has popped up on this game with great interest, and am pleased to see that this title may well be as good as it looks... guess I will be adding this to the rental list after all

Re: First Metro 2033 review
this has recieved an 82 on metacritic and is compared to half life 2
Also got a few 9's and 90's in other reviews.
Who is buying this title?

Re: First Metro 2033 review
I bought it today, might be a while before I get around to playing it though FFXIII completely has me hooked at the mo. I like the fact that Metro 2033 has been said to have quite a lot of survival horror aspects

Re: First Metro 2033 review
I would love to buy it but alas I'm not going to be able to so this will have to added to the rental list, given how lovefilm is a bit of a lottery as to what you get and when this means that I'm not likely going to be playing this until a couple of months after release

I'd quite happily do the review, but I draw the line at driving to Kent to grab the review copy!

Re: First Metro 2033 review
Have watched a few gameplay clips of this today over at gametrailers.com and It showed a few problems. Seems they might have screwed the pooch on the AI and damage modelling in this.

Re: First Metro 2033 review
The main criticism I have seen is round its AI. Still looking forward to playing it thoughsophosuni wrote:Have watched a few gameplay clips of this today over at gametrailers.com and It showed a few problems. Seems they might have screwed the pooch on the AI and damage modelling in this.

Re: First Metro 2033 review
Been playing it today and i've not seen a problem with the AI ,they seem to flank ,throw grenades etc with good accuracy .
I never rely on Gametrailers reviews as apart from big releases ( MW2 ,God of war etc) they seem pretty hit and miss.
