Rock Band 3

Just seen this regarding Rock Band 3 this year I for one can not wait

Are you ready to rock? Well, if you're not, you've got until the end of the year to get yourself sufficiently ready to rock once again as Harmonix has announced that Rock Band 3 will be out in time for the 'Holiday Season'.

Here's the latest Rock Band Facebook post fresh from GDC: "Harmonix is developing Rock Band 3 for worldwide release this holiday season! The game, which will be published by MTV Games and distributed by Electronic Arts, will innovate and revolutionize the music genre once again, just as Harmonix did with the original Rock Band, Rock Band 2 and The Beatles: Rock Band. Stay tuned for more details!"

And that's all we know for now, folks! Stay tuned for the usual drip feed of tracks and new features in due course.

How about you all speculate as to what tracks will feature in Rock Band 3 and which ones you'd like to see? Us? We really want some Led Zeppelin or failing that, how about Jedward?

coolios, dont think we ever get led zep though, they all said no, but i suppose they find a way to change there minds, be nice to see pink floyd appearing though

You have a very good year ahead for music games

Which also makes me very happy. Got to lvoe the music games

I can not wait for this one either. But still no release date for this.. all we know is, it is this year... I don't like the wait though

Oh god... another one... not as bad a that Guitar Hero lot with their release something every 6 months or less deal but still... oh well at least it wont be here until christmas time... I have a little time to prepare myself I suppose.

Definately looking forward to RB Greenday, and so is the missus.

The neighbours might not be too happy though!

Led Zep is the one everyone wants, but I just can't see it the way Page and Plant are so anti these type of games. Such a shame too. If we don't get some Led Zep, I'd settle for some Pantera or Maiden.
Looking forward to seeing what tracks are on RB3, hopefully they don't follow GH's path and go more poppy, it's called Rock Band, not Pop Band.
