Sonic 4 coming to Xbox Live Arcade this summer

SEGA has announced Sonic 4: Episode I. It is a 2D downloadable game with 3D visuals.

I know that there have been so many bad sonic games recently but seems like they are trying to return to their roots and do a decent old style Sonic. Hopefully they won't cock it up!

just showed the video to my kids and they went nuts they both love sonic.
if its any better then sonic unleashed il be pleased as that sucked got this to tide them over till then

I think the last decent one that I played was Sonic Adventure 2 on the dreamcast! even that wasn't perfect but was about as good as it got for 3D sonic games

yeah sonic unleashed is that on drugs but in there great wisdom thought i know what lets make sonic at night turn in a werehog/werewolf but it ruined the game and made it suck balls shame really

let's hope they don't mess this up. all i'd like is a basic sonic game, no daft gimmicks. also with calling it episode 1 means they have to make more.

i also read somewhere that sega may possibly port sonic adventure to the xbla at some point.

Im not a sonic girl - infact back in the day - you were either a sonic fan or a mario fan - I was with Mario all the way. Tried Sonic b4 and OMG I really didnt see then the attraction then and I still dont see it now - a bit like me and GoW but hey its a good job we dont all like the same things INIT!

I'm not really into Sonic either, but that racing game looks good!

The original Sonic games are some of my all time favourites, so I've been following this pretty closely since it was first announced as 'Project Needlemouse'. This is highly anticipated here......apparently Sonic is the only playable character. Not even Tails or Knuckles made it.

Another Sonic game eh... well as long as it's nothing like those 3D offerings they have been churning out as of late it might be a reasonable game... Sonic, Mario meh they have nothing on Earthworm Jim!

Good news about the lack of sidekicks, I think sonic must have the worst selection of sidekicks I've ever seen and they seem to get progressively worse with each new one that they introduce!

Leaked footage of a mine cart level in Sonic 4 has appeared on t'internet and it's HORRID! Serious motion sickness and....yep I just threw up a little in my mouth.
